"On the contrary, the stability and tranquillity of a Lebanon free of foreign rule and of the PNA [Palestinian National Authority] are desired by the State of Israel. We yearn for the day when an eternal covenant will be forged between us for the mutual benefit of our peoples on both sides of our common borders. The campaign we are waging these days is against terror organizations operating from Lebanon and from Gaza.
